The Deluxe King Room was spacious and charming, immediately feeling like a cozy retreat. The bed was large and comfortable, which made for great sleep. I loved the bathroom too, with a nice shower/bathtub combo and plush towels. The decor matched the historic vibe of the hotel. A couple of things could be improved, like the mattress feeling a bit worn. But overall, it was a nice place to unwind after exploring.

Although the room was comfortable, our dinner experience was rushed with poor service. It was disappointing to be told the coffee machine was broken and receive lackluster meals during our stay.

Unique leisure facilities with a golf course right on the property. Some stunning views of the estate make for an enjoyable stay and a relaxing atmosphere in the bar area at night.
The room didn't live up to the upgrade claim. a bad smell lingered in the bathroom, and the shower flooded the floor. The breakfast experience was lackluster with delayed service and limited vegan options. navigating the maze-like corridors to find my room proved frustrating, and the long waits for lifts added to the inconvenience.

enjoyable stay with room for improvement
The grounds were particularly impressive, showcasing immaculate landscaping that enhanced the overall experience. Our room provided a spacious and comfortable retreat, ensuring a restful stay for our family with children.
The hotel's regal appearance is somewhat undermined by a few areas that could use updating.

Enchanting Views but Service Needs Improvement
We enjoyed beautiful scenery and lovely leisure facilities. dining options were limited, leaving us scrambling for food. The restaurant's menu felt too formal for families. Planning ahead for meals seems crucial, especially if you have kids. the hotel has potential but needs more flexible dining options.

We had a fantastic time exploring the beautiful grounds with our adult kids. The heated swimming pool was a hit, especially during the designated splash times, and we enjoyed relaxing in the well-maintained gardens. The golf course was a lovely backdrop to our family photo ops.
My wife says that the breakfast experience was chaotic and could use more efficient staff.
